David Nirenberg

Author of numerous books on the history of Jewish, Muslim, and Christian relations, he currently serves as the Dean of the Divinity School and Executive Vice-Provost of the University of Chicago. He is the Deborah R. and Edgar D. Jannotta Distinguished Service Professor of Medieval History and Social Thought, Department of History; the former Dean of the Social Sciences Division and Founding Director of the Neubauer Collegium for Culture and Society at the University of Chicago
